What to expect at a funeral viewing
Viewings are usually held in a private room at one of our funeral homes. The setting is quiet, with comfortable seating and space to pray, talk or just sit. You can bring music, photos or anything else that feels meaningful. Some families choose to keep the viewing small and personal, while others open it up to extended family or friends.
Funeral viewings are entirely optional. Some families find them helpful for closure, while others prefer to remember their loved one in life. There's no right or wrong – only what feels right for you.
Yes. Many families bring letters, photos or meaningful items to place in the casket or have nearby.
Most viewings last 30–60 minutes, but we’ll work around your needs. You won’t be rushed.

Usually, yes. We have private viewing rooms across our funeral homes. In some cases, a home or hospital viewing may also be possible.
