Yes. With the Guardian Plan, you can choose to pay upfront or start with a deposit and pay the remaining balance in instalments over time. If you choose to pay in instalments, you’ll pay a 30% deposit followed by monthly instalments over 12, 24 or 36 months. Any remaining balance is settled when the funeral takes place.
If you relocate, your plan can be transferred to another funeral provider within Guardian Plan’s nationwide network. Your funeral plan can also be updated if your circumstances change, giving you flexibility over time.
Not at all. You can choose how much detail to include in your plan. Some people prefer to outline specific details in their funeral plan – such as the venue, readings, and music – while others keep things more general.
Your funds are held securely until your funeral is arranged. They're invested by the Over Fifty Guardian Friendly Society Limited, which works with expert investment managers and is regulated by APRA for your protection.
